You might be asking yourself, "What does come as you are mean"? It means something far beyond a dress code. But, hey, since we just mentioned it, let's start there. If you are most comfortable in jeans and t-shirt - awesome! If you like to get dressed up a bit more - you can do that! One of the things we value as a church is authenticity - being authentic - being who you are!
You don't have to impress anyone, you don't have to dress like anyone else and you don't have to act like anybody other than yourself. We want to meet YOU! We are a family of ordinary people. We can be ourselves.
Speaking, well, writing about that, we want you to know that you don't have to believe what we believe, do what we do or say what we say to come to any of our services. And, if you think that you have to have your act together before visiting True North Church, please... We're a laid-back bunch and that is evident in everything from the music to the message.
So, "Come as you are," means just that. It's not about clothes. It's not about your past. It's not about your problems. It's not even about your present. It's all about YOUR future and the direction you're going.
So, put on some jeans and a comfortable t-shirt and come check out True North Church. If your life needs some direction, we can help with that.
